Please see below some important travel, parking, and entry information for those attending FKME FKFest on 20th February. We strongly recommend reading this in full before arriving.

Travel Information

 

Travelling by Train

 

If you are staying at the Premier Inn, Birkenhead, the nearest station is Birkenhead Central, located directly across the road from the hotel.

 If you are travelling directly to the venue by train, please use Green Lane Station.

 Exit the station, turn left, and the venue is approximately a 10-minute walk.

 Trains to Green Lane run from both Chester and Liverpool.

The same stations can be used to travel between the hotel and the venue.

Taxis can be ordered from the Premier Inn using the hotel call button to take you to the venue. For the return journey, you will need to book an Uber or taxi independently.

Please note that trains do not run late into the evening.

The venue is also walkable from the Premier Inn (approximately 20–30 minutes).

Guests staying at other hotels will require a taxi.

 

Travelling by Car & Parking

 

Parking is available at the following location (enter into Google Maps):

This will take you to the Maritime Education Centre car park, which the venue has an agreement with and is located directly across the road from the venue.

Do not park in the Cash & Carry car park, as the gates are locked at 9:00 pm and vehicles will be locked in.

Parking is not permitted on Union Street, so anyone travelling by car must park on the other side of the A41 in the Maritime car park.

Unfortunately, this is outside of our control. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for vehicles or property left in the Maritime car park, and parking there is done at your own risk.

 

 

Venue Entrance

 

Entry to the venue is via the black gate to the left of the building opposite the Cash & Carry.

The building is unlabelled and intentionally designed not to stand out from the outside.

 

 

Entry Requirements & Important Information

 

- Please have valid ID and £10 cash ready on entry.

- You will be asked to follow Townhouse rules regarding ID.

- ID is required regardless of age due to the venue’s specific licensing requirements.

 - Accepted ID: Driving licence or passport only.

 

Opening Times

 

- Doors open: 7:30 pm

- Last entry: 10:30 pm

- Venue closes: 2:00 am

 

£10 Deposit / Locker / Bar Tab

 

- A £10 cash deposit is required on arrival.

- This deposit provides you with a locker for your belongings.

- The £10 will be offset against your bar bill when you leave.

- If you do not spend the full £10, the remaining amount will be refunded when you return your locker key.

 

Payments

 

Please note that American Express is not accepted.
